INDIANOLA — It was a Woodward-Granger reunion of sorts Saturday as Simpson hosted Coe in Iowa Intercollegiate Conference football.

Former Hawks Taylor Ashman, Cole Ashman, Tanner Canova, Michael Conner and Mason Burkhart all suit up for the host Storm, with W-G alum Marshall Nieland dressing for the CoeHawks.

Coe remained undefeated with a 47-29 victory and will now host Monmouth (Il) in the playoffs. Nieland and Taylor Ashman played across the line from each other on several occasions Saturday as friends and family members looked on. It was the final game in Taylor Ashman’s grid career.
