Jairon Estuardo Alvarado, 34 of 1600 Linden St., Granger, was arrested early Monday on a charge of assault.

A Granger man was arrested Monday after he allegedly made a female victim “feel uncomfortable” by hugging, kissing and fondling her without her consent.

Jairon Estuardo Alvarado, 34 of 1600 Linden St., Granger, was charged with assault.

The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Linden Street in Granger.

The victim told the Dallas County Deputy Sheriff who investigated the alleged assault that Alvarado “came down to her apartment, knocked, and they began a conversation,” according to court records.

The victim said she “invited him to enter into the apartment,” whereupon Alvarado soon after “grabbed” the victim and began “hugging her,” according to court records. He allegedly “kissed her on the cheek” and touched her inappropriately “on the outside of the clothing.”

The victim said she “then told him to leave, which he did without incident.”

The victim said Alvarado’s actions were “done without the victim’s consent and made her feel uncomfortable,” according to court records.

Alvarado is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a pretrial conference Aug. 12 in Dallas County District Court.
