January 12, 2018

  • A deputy assisted a motorist whose vehicle slid into the ditch on Neola Avenue near 260th Street. There was no damage to the car.
  • A deputy assisted a motorist whose vehicle was stuck on ice on E Avenue near 220th Street.
  • A deputy investigated an assault in the 600 block of Adrian Street in Churdan.
  • Nathaniel Aldrich, 30, of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault impeding flow of air or blood.
  • Larry Bush, 53, of Churdan was booked into the jail for child endangerment causing bodily injury.
  • A deputy investigated a verbal domestic in the 600 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of I Avenue.

January 13, 2018

  • A deputy investigated a complaint of a lost cell phone at a local casino.
  • A deputy arrested Zachery Waters, 21, of Grand Junction on arrest warrants for third-degree burglary.

  • A deputy arrested Jose Hernandez, 28, of Grand Junction for arrest warrants for violation of a no-contact order.
  • Jose Hernandez, 28, of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for two counts of violating a no-contact order.
  • A deputy assisted the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office in trying to locate a person near Grand Junction.
  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • The sheriff assisted with a spill in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy arrested Devonte Edwards, 19, of Grand Junction for arrest warrants for possession of a controlled substance.

  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 800 block of E. Hager Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of Sandoe Street in Grand Junction.

January 14, 2018

  • Craig Presley, 57, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for public intoxication.
  • Sawyer Gibson, 21, of Scranton was booked into the jail for first-offense OWI.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person on E Avenue near 235th Street.
  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near G Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near Mulberry Street.
  • A deputy assisted the Rippey Fire Department and Grand Junction Fire Department in responding to a structure fire in the 100 block of Lovejoy Street in Rippey. There was smoke damage and one room was damaged from the fire. There was no cause determined for the fire.
