June 7, 2019

  • A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the southeast part of Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted with a civil dispute at the Grand Junction light plant.
  • A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block of E. Hager Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street and Hillcrest Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 400 block of E. Hager Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy was called to the Catholic cemetery in Grand Junction for a sick owl.
  • A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 175th Street near C Avenue. Amy Gray, 53, of Glidden lost control of her 2005 Toyota Prius, causing $4,500 in damage.

June 8, 2019

  • A deputy investigated a burglary in progress in the 1400 block of 100th Street. A juvenile was taken in custody.
  • A deputy investigated a Facebook scam in the 500 block of State Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy collected property found in the 1400 block of 100th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a backing accident at at retail store in Grand Junction. Mirna Duque, 32, of California backed into parked 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with her 2005 Dodge Durango. Duque’s vehicle sustained about $200 in damage, and the Silverado sustained about $1,000 in damage. Mirna was issued citations for failure to have a valid driver’s license and failure to provide financial liability-accident related.
  • A deputy removed debris from the roadway on Eaton Avenue just north of Scranton.

June 9, 2019

  • Jacob Lopez, 24, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for public intoxication.
  • A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 800 block of Q Avenue.
  • A deputy arrested Catilin Peterson, 30, of Harcourt on an arrest warrant for fifth-degree theft and second-degree theft. Peterson was booked into the Greene County Jail.
  • A deputy investigated a domestic in the 800 block of N. 11th Street.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest near the Home State Bank.
  • Justin Downs, 33, of Churdan was booked into the jail for fourth-degree criminal mischief.
  • A deputy investigated a child custody dispute in the 100 block of Connant Street in Farlin.
  • A deputy investigated a burglary in the 200 block of S. 18th Street in Grand Junction.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
