March 6, 2018

  • A deputy investigated a single-vehicle accident on E Avenue in the 1800 block. Madison Strum, 20, of Glidden lost control of her 2008 Chevrolet Malibu and hit a driveway embankment in the ditch, causing $3,000. She was not injured in the accident.
  • A deputy provided traffic control for semi stuck in a driveway in the 1500 block of W Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 1200 block of 245th Street. The scam was from someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House and asking them to send $2,500 in order to receive their money.
  • A deputy assisted the Iowa Department of Human Services with a child removal in the 200 block of N. Locust Street in Jefferson.
  • A deputy investigated a violation of a no-contact order in the 200 block of Main Street in Paton.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious light on U Avenue near 130th Street.

March 7, 2018

  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle at the Churdan Cemetery on 140th Street.
  • Renae Baugh, 36, of Jefferson was booked into the Greene County Jail for first-offense OWI.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of M Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 300 block of 185th Street. This was a Publishers Clearing House scam.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of 270th Street.

March 8, 2018

  • A deputy and the Greene County Sheriff investigated a possible burglary in the 2400 block of 337th Street.
  • Brandi Perry, 29, of Scranton was booked into the Greene County Jail to serve a sentence.
  • The Greene County Sheriff assisted with an unruly child in the 100 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • The Greene County Sheriff assisted with getting cattle back in the fence in the 2200 block of 330th Street.
  • A deputy assisted with a unruly child at the Greene County Medical Center.
  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 100 block of N. College Street in Paton.
  • A deputy investigated a careless-driving complaint on 220th Street near Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 900 block of Sand Street in Churdan.

March 9, 2018

  • A deputy assisted a motorist on N Avenue near 140th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a verbal domestic in the 700 block of Q Avenue.
  • A deputy and the Greene County Sheriff assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of Vine Street in Cooper.
  • A deputy investigated three stray dogs that attacked a vehicle and left bite marks in the fender and also damaged the bumper in the 600 block of M Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated an assault in the 500 block of 16th Street North in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1600 block of 120th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a 911 hang-up in the 900 block of Livingston Street in Churdan.
  • A deputy investigated a complaint of loud music in the 100 block of N. Dana Street in Dana.

March 10, 2018

  • A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest at Sparky’s in Jefferson.
  • A deputy investigated a single-vehicle accident on 220th Street and P Avenue. Steven Ray, 47, of Boone struck a dog running at large, causing $2,400 in damage to his 2015 GMC Terrain.
  • A deputy investigated a burglary in the 1700 block of 222nd Street.
  • Amber Benavides, 25, of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for first-offense OWI and disorderly conduct.

March 11, 2018

  • A deputy assisted with a unruly inmate in the booking area of the Greene County Jail. Amanda Goodpaster, 30, of Grand Junction was arrested for public intoxication, three counts of assault on persons in certain occupations and disorderly conduct.
  • A deputy investigated an alarm in the 2300 block of 337th Street.

  • A deputy investigated a missing dog in the 500 block of N. 16th Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Elizabeth Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a careless-driving complaint in the 1700 block of T Avenue.
  • Chad Ferguson, 45, of Jefferson was booked into the Greene County Jail for third-offense domestic abuse assault, interference with official acts and obstruction of emergency communications.
