May 25, 2017

  • A deputy investigated a narcotics complaint in the 300 block of 13th Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated an abandoned trailer in the 100 block of Third Street in Rippey.
  • A deputy investigated a juvenile that was vaping or using an e-cigarette at Spring Lake.
  • A deputy investigated a sick opossum in the 700 block of Walnut Street in Scranton.
  • Mark Dugan, 38, of Des Moines was booked into the jail for arrest warrants for second-offense possession of a controlled substance.
  • A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 300 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 300 block of Hill Street. While investigating this complaint, the deputy located Mark Burgart, who was wanted out of Greene County for burglary warrants. Mark Burgart fled and was not located.

May 26, 2017

  • A deputy investigated a residential alarm in the 500 block of D Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated an assault in the 200 block of Fitzpatrick Street in Churdan.
  • A deputy investigated an open door in the 1100 block of Main Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated an assault in the 800 block of Eighth Street in Scranton. Amber Benavides, 24, of Paton was arrested for simple assault. Regina Forkner, 35, of Scranton was also arrested for simple assault.

  • Regina Forkner, 35, of Scranton was booked into the jail for simple assault.
  • A deputy investigated a burglary in the 1400 block of 160th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a child custody dispute in the 400 block of Harding Street in Churdan.

May 27, 2017

  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle at 250th Street and E Avenue.
  • Steven Dzuris, 29, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault-thiord or subsequent offense.
  • A deputy investigated an alarm in the 1800 block of 205th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a stolen vehicle out of Des Moines. The vehicle was not located.
  • A deputy investigated a stray dog in the 100 block of Sunset Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted an ambulance in the 200 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy and an Iowa State Patrol officer investigated a careless-driving complaint. They located the vehicle, which was a 2011 Nissan Altima. The driver was Brian Roe, 47, of Carroll. Brian was arrested for OWI.
  • Brian Roe, 47, of Carroll was booked into the jail for first-offense OWI and following too close to another vehicle.

May 28, 2017

  • Scott Cram, 29, of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence for OWI.
  • A deputy investigated a burglary report in the 700 block of Main Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on the railroad in the area of S Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a domestic issue in the area of J Avenue and 220th Street.
  • Timothy Emery, 50, of Ames was booked into the jail for fifth-degree theft.

May 29, 2017

  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of Main Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a single-vehicle accident in the 900 block of 222nd Street. Douglas Repp, 53, of Minburn was operating a dirt bike at Flack River Farms when he lost control and landed on his head. There was no damage to the motorcycle. Repp was taken by helicopter from the scene with serious injuries. The Greene County Sheriff’s office and Greene County EMS responded to the scene.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of North Street in Churdan.
  • A deputy investigated a domestic assault in the 200 block of Cartwright Street in Rippey. Jamie Glass, 51, of Rippey was arrested for first-offense domestic abuse assault.
  • Jamie Glass, 51, of Rippey was booked into the jail for first-offense domestic abuse assault.
