Habitat for Humanity seeks help building walls Saturday

Dallas County Habitat for Humanity seeks Saturday morning volunteers for wall building in Dallas Center. The Dallas County Habitat for Humanity is seeking volunteer crew members to help build panels in Dallas Center Saturday for a new home in Perry.

The set-up crew is full, but volunteers are still needed for the following shifts:

  • 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Five Nail Captains are needed to supervise teams at each shift
  • 7:45 a.m.-11:30 a.m., 25 wall builders are needed for shift one
  • 12:15-4 p.m., 25 wall builders are needed for shift two
  • 3:15-4:45 p.m., 10 volunteers needed for clean-up shift

Construction will take place at the First Presbyterian Church at 1204 13th St. in Dallas Center.

Anyone who wants to participate is welcome to volunteer, said a Dallas County Habitat for Humanity representative. Sign up at the Habitat for Humanity website.
