A host of Halloween celebrations are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30 in Perry. The Perry City Council designated Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m. as Trick or Treat Night or Beggars’ Night. Residents are asked to turn on their porch lights on if they are handing out treats, and motorists are asked to please drive safely.
Other Halloween activities in Perry include:
- The Safe and Healthy Halloween at the Dallas County Hospital will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 5-6:30 p.m. Parents are invited to bring the kids and enjoy a fun and safe night of trick-or-treating.
- The annual Trick-or-Treat SPOOK-tacular will take place Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 4-6 p.m. in historic downtown Perry. The event will be a fun Halloween celebration, with safe trick-or-treating with local businesses and community organizations.
- The Rowley Masonic Community at 1300 28th St. will host a Halloween event Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 6-7:30 p.m., with a haunted house, games, cotton candy and trick or treating. Parents with children are asked to enter through the Assisted Living facility on 28th Street and look for the signs.
- The Perry Fire Association’s Haunted Barn will be open Oct. 19, 20, 26, 27 and 30, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The cost is $5 per person. The Haunted Barn will be located in the Perry Marketplace at the corner of First and Willis avenues. On Saturday, Oct. 20 from noon until 3 p.m., the Cub Scout Pack 127 will host a kid-friendly Haunted Barn experience. All ticket sales from the kid-friendly matinee will be given to the Cub Scout Pack 127 fundraiser.
