  • Julie Wells requested an officer at 209 E. Gallop Road for numerous complaints about her room at the facility. The officer advised her it was not a criminal matter.
  • Mark Nelson reported a suspicious male standing in the parking lot at 106 W. Washington St.
  • Brooke Bates brought a dog to the Law Enforcement Center she caught in Scranton. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.
  • Kum & Go reported an overnight theft occurred at 303 N. Elm St. A male customer removed a cup from the counter containing ink pens for use. An officer is investigating.
  • An officer performed a funeral escort.
  • An officer is investigating the theft of gas from a vehicle and a missing leaf blower from 1501 N. Elm St.
  • A traffic stop was performed in the 700 block of N. Elm Street, resulting in Colleen Schulze of Coon Rapids being issued a citation for excessive speed.
  • A Greene County Community School bus driver reported a school bus violation to an officer. The violation occurred at Wilson and McKinley streets. A vehicle passed the stopped bus with the lights activated and the stop sing out. The officer is investigating.
  • An officer was advised of a male driving carelessly in the area of Kelso Park. The officer made contact with the male and issued a verbal warning for the careless driving. Skylar James McClintic of Jefferson was issued a citation for minor using tobacco.
  • An officer met Jody Ganoe at the Animal Holding Facility and placed a German shepherd in the facility that Ganoe found running at large in the 600 block of W. Lincoln Way.
  • Officers were called to 605 N. Wilson Ave. for a reported domestic abuse assault. Officers met with the female victim and learned that the male suspect fled from the residence. At about 9:48 p.m., officers were called back to the residence because the male had returned. The officers arrested Nicholas Anthony Balderas, 25, of Jefferson for third-offense domestic abuse assault. Balderas also had an outstanding Greene County arrest warrant for probation violation.
  • Jake Ball spoke with an officer about harassment from a known male in Jefferson.
