  • While conducting business door checks, an officer located an open door at 509 E. Gallop Road.
  • An officer issued a parking violation notice in the 700 block of N. Wilson Avenue for parked facing wrong direction.
  • Dean Sayre reported a neighbor pushing snow onto his property in the 500 block of N. Elm Street.
  • Officers assisted the Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 200 block of S. Oak Street.
  • An officer investigated a two-vehicle property-damage accident at Maple and Adams streets. A 2003 Ford F150, owned and operated by Mitchell Stevens of Ralston, was southbound on N. Maple Street when it collided with a 2014 GMS Sierra, owned and operated by Harold Snedeker of Waukee, that was eastbound on Adams Street. Both vehicles had a reported $1,500 in damages. Stevens was issued a citation for failure to yield to vehicle on right.
  • Alliant Energy requested an officer at 504 S. Walnut St. for a possible domestic situation. . An officer arrived and learned the issue occurred the previous day, and all was now fine at the residence.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
