  • An officer located an abandoned vehicle in the 900 block of W. Russell Street.
  • An officer responded to 509 S. Olive St., #A, for a report of a domestic dispute.
  • An officer responded to 705 W. Sunset Place for a report of a domestic dispute. The officer is investigating.
  • An officer assisted the Des Moines Police Department with a domestic assault investigation.
  • Karla Caldwell requested assistance with locating a friend she had been unable to make contact with in the 200 block of S. Walnut Street.
  • Jose Diaz spoke with an officer about a civil issue.
  • An officer responded to 508 N. Elm St. for a theft report. The officer learned a wallet was stolen out of a parked vehicle. The officer is investigating.
  • The staff at Doc’s Stadium lodges a trespassing complaint.
  • An officer responded to 108 E. Central St., #66, for a dispute between family members.
  • An officer responded to 209 E. Gallup Road for a civil dispute.
  • As a result of an investigation that began on May 29, 2019, involving a theft of a lighter from 303 N. Elm St., arrest warrants were requested for Brandon Niedowicz, 27, of Lohrville, Iowa, for fifth-degree theft.

June 27, 2019

  • An officer located an open business door at 407 E. Central St.
  • Glenda Monahan reported a phone scam she received.
  • An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 800 block of W. Harrison Street.
  • Molly Hughes reported a phone scam she received.
  • Alyssa Slusser reported damage to a lawnmower that was on her property at 803 W. Adams St. It appeared the throttle cable on the lawnmower had intentionally been cut. An officer is investigating.
  • Officers responded to the 100 block of Ram Drive to assist the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call.
  • Officers responded to the 1200 block of S. Grimmell Road for possible gun shots. The officers determined fireworks caused the noise.
  • An anonymous caller reported possible criminal activity in the 300 block of N. Vine Street.
  • An anonymous caller lodged a driving complaint on U.S. Highway 30 traveling eastbound from Glidden to Jefferson.
  • An officer responded to 406 N. West St. for a report of a possible assault.
  • An officer responded to 505 S. Locust St. to remove a bat from the residence.
  • Beverly Luft reported a possible trespasser at 300 S. West St.
