  • An officer removed a bat from the residence at 401 N. Cedar St.
  • Officers assisted the medical examiner with a medical call at 106 W. Washington St.
  • A traffic stop in the 200 block of E. Lincoln Way resulted in Conshanda Cox, 39, of Fort Dodge being issued a citation for driving while suspended. Cox was also arrested on a Webster County warrant for assault. Officers received a consent search from a male riding another motorcycle with Cox and during this search, an officer located numerous smoking devices and suspected methamphetamine and marijuana. Future charges are pending test results on the seized items.
  • The Greene County Medical Center emergency room requested an officer for a dog bite. An officer spoke to a female, who said her dog had bitten her while she was holding the animal down to observe a rash on its stomach. No ordinances were violated by the animal.
  • Offices assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call at 1207 N. Elm St.
  • An officer issued a parking violation notice in the 400 block of E. Harrison Street for parking between lot line and curb line.
  • The swimming pool staff requested an officer at 701 S. Maple St. for three disruptive male juveniles. An officer spoke to the juveniles and their parents. All three were banned from the facility for the remainder of the season.
  • A traffic stop in the 900 block of E. Lincoln Way resulted in Marc Hostetler of Arkansas being issued a citation for excessive speed.
  • Officers removed a bat from the residence at 401 N. Cedar St.
  • A caller reported a careless driver near Reed and Oak streets. An officer located the vehicle parked at a residence and spoke to the driver about the complaint.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
