  • While conducting business checks, an officer located an open door at 903 N. Elm St.
  • An officer located a car alarm sounding in the 500 block of W. Mahlon Street. The officer made contact with the owner of the vehicle, who said the alarm was faulty and had sounded earlier in the day as well.
  • A parking violation notice was issued in the 100 block of W. Washington Street for a vehicle parked across a sidewalk.
  • A parking violation notice was issued in the 400 block of N. Cedar Street for a vehicle parked across a sidewalk.
  • Alexa Anthony reported criminal mischief to her vehicle at 903 W. State St. Someone spread lotion on her windshield.
  • Jolene Paulson reported a garbage can in the roadway in the 300 block of E. Lincoln Way.
  • Kay Skalla reported criminal mischief to a window at her residence at 500 S. Maple St.
  • A traffic stop was performed in the 1200 block of S. Elm Street, resulting in Matthew Pena of Jefferson being issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
  • A traffic stop was performed in the 200 block of W. Lincoln Way, resulting in Christy Smithson of Jefferson being issued a citation for operation without registration.
  • Ryan Murphy reported a burglary at 205 N. Locust St. Play Station games and tools were removed from the residence. An officer is investigating.
  • A traffic stop was performed at Lincoln Way and Elm Street, resulting in Nicholas Rice of Rippey being issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
