  • While conducting business door checks, an officer located an open door at 800 E. Lincoln Way.
  • An officer located an open door at 505 E. Lincoln Way.
  • Officers assisted the Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 300 block of W. Washington Street.
  • Tim Cadden reported the theft of prescription drugs from 621 S. Cedar St.
  • A caller reported a loose dog chasing a mail carrier in the 300 block of S. Olive Street.
  • A traffic stop was performed in the 800 block of E. Lincoln Way, resulting in Kimberley Swanson of Grand Junction being issued a citation for excessive speed.
  • Officers were advised of a male yelling and kicking at the front door of the residence at 104 E. Monroe St. As officers approached the residence and began speaking with the male, he fled on a bicycle. Officers gave chase and caught up to the male in the 100 block of S. Wilson Avenue. Officers arrested Steven Logan Dzuris, 30, of Jefferson for interference with official acts and disorderly conduct.
  • A caller reported debris lying in the roadway in the 100 block of N. Elm Street. An officer removed the matter from the roadway.
  • Brooke Taylor spoke with an officer regarding a civil child custody issue occurring at 305 N. Oak St.
  • Officers were advised of an intoxicated male leaving the Hy-Vee store on foot. An officer made contact with the male in the 400 block of N. Chestnut Street. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Michael Allen Olson, 55, of Jefferson for public intoxication. Olson became combative and non-compliant during arrest and caused damage to the officer’s vehicle as he was being transported to the Law Enforcement Center. The officer added charges of second-degree criminal mischief and interference with official acts.
  • Officers checked on a 911 hang-up call that mapped in the area of Lincoln Way and Cedar Street. They found no one in the area needing assistance.
