  • An officer located an open door at 610 N. Elm St.
  • People’s Bank reported three separate thefts that occurred Jan. 4, Jan. 6 and Jan. 7. In each event, someone put an empty deposit envelope into the ATM and then withdrew cash from an account. The total amount of all three events was $500. An officer is investigating, and charges are pending at this time.
  • Someone shared information with an officer about suspicious activities witnessed in the 200 block of N. Olive Street.
  • Kaitlyn Bride called and said her dog got loose in the area of the 300 block of N. Pinet Street.
  • An officer assisted the Greene County EMS crews with a medical call in the 300 block of S. Walnut Street.
  • An officer assisted the Greene County EMS crews with a medical call in the 400 block of N. Chestnut Street.
  • John Clark advised of a deceased deer in the roadway on 220th Street east of Jefferson. An officer removed the deer from the roadway.
  • A traffic stop in the 1000 block of E. Lincoln Way resulted in Ashley Kellogg of Jefferson being issued a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
