Jennifer Hornsby, 59, of Bouton passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the EveryStep Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa.
A private celebration of her life will be held by her family.
Jennifer Joy Hornsby was born Dec. 22, 1962, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Duane Eugene and Caroline Gay (McKinney) Workman.
She graduated from Perry High School and then attended the La James School of Beauty.
Jennifer was united in marriage to Russell Dean Hornsby at the First Christian Church in Perry May 28, 1982.
She worked for Great Clips in Urbandale until retiring in 2021.
Jennifer enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading, crocheting and cooking.
She loved her German Shepherd dogs.
In death she rejoins her father, Duane Workman; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Larry and Julie Hornsby.
Left to cherish Jennifer’s memory are her husband, Russell Hornsby; mother, Caroline Gay Workman; siblings, Debbie Olson of Perry and David Workman of Elk Run Heights, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
