Jerry Wayne Allen, 82, of Alpharetta, Georgia, and formerly of Jefferson passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25 at the Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Jefferson Cemetery next to his two wives, Ruth Ann Hastings Allen and Lari Allen.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Richard) Vandever of Milton, Georgia; son, Kreg (Karen) Allen of Pensacola, Florida; granddaughter, Corey (Eric) Parson of Dawsonville, Georgia; grandson, Zackary (Ellen) Vandever of Blairsville, Georgia; granddaughter, Korey Allen of Kendallville, Indiana; great-granddaughters, Nikki and October; great-grandsons, Ian and Flynn; brothers, Bill (Pauline) Allen of Jefferson, John (Kimberly) Allen of Hesperia, California, and Robert Allen of Apple Valley, California; sister, Nancy (Tom) Juda of Los Angeles; and sister-in-law, Susan Allen of San Antonio; local relatives Pat Hastings of Jefferson, Kay Renwanz of Scranton and Chuck and Dina Hastings of Grimes.
