Funeral services for Jimmie “Jim” Lewis McVey, 72, of Dawson will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, and visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, with family present from 5-7 p.m., at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
Jim died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, in Boone, Iowa.
Jim is survived by his son, Marty (Anita) McVey of Boone; grandsons, Nicholas McVey of Minneapolis, Minn., and Marcus McVey of Des Moines; and one sister, Connie (Al) Grigg of Everly, Iowa.
The Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements.
