Kathleen Bice, 61, of Woodward passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at the Israel House Hospice in Ames, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at the Woodward United Methodist Church in Woodward. Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Woodward Cemetery in Woodward.

Kathleen Louise Bice was born March 16, 1957, in Jefferson, Iowa, to August “Bud” Edward and Marjorie Jane (Hollingshead) Staebler.
She graduated from the Gilbert High School.
Kathy was united in marriage to Michael Lynn Bice at Las Vegas, Nev., Nov. 9, 1998.
She worked at Woodward Resource Center for 29 years and retired in December 2013.
She was a member of the Woodward United Methodist Church and Woodward Library Board.
Kathy was a certified melanoma educator.
She enjoyed scrapbooking, travelling, watching ISU sports, being with her dogs, gardening, shopping and drinking coffee with her friends.
Kathy adored her grandchildren, and they adored her.
In death she rejoins her mother, Marjorie Jane Staebler; grandparents, Ray and Mercedes Hollingshead and Irma and Frank Staebler; and a brother, Craig Francis Staebler.
Left to cherish Kathy’s memory are her husband, Michael Bice; father, August “Bud” Edward Staebler; children, Nicholas Hadaway of Ankeny, Michelle (Jared) Sharr of Woodward, Danielle (Brian) Schertz of Bettendorf and Jennifer (PJ) Runge of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Wiley, Grace and Elijah Sharr and Allison and Owen Schertz.
