Kimberly Faye Collier was born in Canton, Ohio, on July 13, 1972. She was the daughter of Rachell Virginia (Davis) Collier and Roy Tilden Collier.

She moved to Wichita, Kansas, when her parents divorced, where she lived until her mother passed away right before her 16th birthday. She moved back to Ohio for the next few years and lived with her father.

Kim graduated from Sandy Valley High School in 1991. Following graduation, Kim moved back to Kansas and ultimately to Iowa.

In her early years, Kim worked several jobs with people with disabilities, including becoming a CNA for a short time. She worked for Archway Cookies until they closed and then at CDS for several years. She was the office manager at Iowa Foot Care for several years and then worked some temp jobs before moving on to the Homemakers Furniture corporate office.

She married John Moore in 2004 after being together for six years. They divorced 12 years later.

Kim enjoyed making crafts, working on her house, spending time with her son and grandson and playing with her two Morkies, Kya and Pepper.

Kim is preceded in death by both parents; a sister; all of her grandparents; and her precious fur babies, Dingo, Ollie and Kaos. Her mother and maternal grandmother also died of ovarian cancer, and her sister, Linda Sue (Collier) Mather, died of breast cancer.

Kim is survived by her son, Jeremy Pratt; grandson, Aiden Moore; sister, Teri (Doug) Carpenter of Ohio; two half-brothers, Timothy Collier of Ohio and David (Shannon) Collier of Ohio; her fur babies, Kya and Pepper; several nieces and nephews; her special cousin and dear friend, Marni Ayers of Ohio; and her close friend who often cared for her, Lisa Kasper of Roland, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
