A Mass of Christian burial for Larry Correy, 80, of Jamaica will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry, with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in rural Jamaica. Visitation will be Thursday after 1 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, with the family present at 5 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m.
Larry died Monday, Aug. 21 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, of Jamaica; sons, Michael of Story City, Daniel of Dyersville and John of Johnston; daughters, Beth Lide of Houston, Texas, and Kristen Scott of Lee Summit, Mo.; sister, Geraldine Henson of Brighton, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
