Services are pending for LaVere Derry, 91, of Rippey will be held Friday, Sept. 9 from 1-7 p.m., with family hours from 5-7 p.m. at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at the United Methodist Church in Rippey.
LaVere died Sept. 4, 2022, at the Windsor Manor in Nevada, Iowa.
LaVere is survived by his wife, Beverly of Rippey; daughter, Teri Derry of Ames; son, Mike Derry of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; grandsons, John Derry of Chicago and Luke Derry of Glen Ellyn; brother, Chuck Derry of Rippey; and brother-in-law, George Millard of Rippey.
Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements.
