Letter to the editor: North-facing wall a better spot for mural

To the editor:

I just read the story ThePerryNews.com website about the proposed mural for Josh Davis park. Why remove the beautiful trees and trellis and vines when there is a perfect spot just around the corner?

The north side of the old shoe store would be perfect. Nothing to destroy and safe from the summer’s blazing sun fade.

It seems that Perry is always changing direction at mid-stream. The trees on Second Street have been removed after years of careful nurturing.

The Joebgen building would double the exposure to the public.

  1. Yes, leave the trees, and in fact plant more trees all over Perry, please. Trees would honor Josh Davis just as beautifully and give hope and oxygen for the future.
