At a recent eighth grade boys game with Perry, I saw an example of what youth/school sports embodies.
At least twice I noticed your third base coach give a congratulation comment to a couple of West Marshall boys as they exited past him at the end of the inning.
This kind of real-time recognition of effort means a lot to kids. How wonderful that you have such a coach for your team!
Maybe you can determine the coach’s name so he is also thanked for demonstrating one of the many things that make a good role model for our young athletes.
