Winners of one of the highest academic honors in the state of Iowa were recently announced, with Perry’s Angela Hernandez, Panorama’s Molly Simmons and Woodward-Granger’s Reese Jamison named as Iowa Governor’s Scholars.
Only 425 seniors statewide receive the recognition. The largest 64 schools submit two students, with the remaining high schools each putting one student in consideration.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds saluted the stellar scholars.
