Funeral services for Mae Joy Hughes, 29, of Jefferson Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jefferson.
Mae Joy died Nov. 17, 2021, at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mae Joy is survived by her husband, Brian Hughes; her parents, Joseph and Myla Alcaraz; and sister, Jhade Cahilig Alcaraz, all of the Philippines.
Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements.
