Marjorie Ione Wilson, 96, of Perry was born April 4, 1922, in North Dakota to Fred and Margaret Davis and passed away Sept. 16, 2018, in Perry, Iowa.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Marjorie was united in marriage to DeVern Wilson of Madrid in 1939. The couple welcomed two daughters, Barbara Jean and Janice.
DeVern and Marjorie raised their daughters in Woodward and moved to Perry in later years.
Marjorie worked in an ammunition plant and cleaned houses during World War II. She retired from Woodward Resource Center after 35 years and worked another 10 years at McDonald’s in Perry.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, DeVern: her parents; siblings, Leo, Fern, Faye, Lyle, Tommy, Cleve, Velma, Ned, and four other siblings in infancy.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Jean of Topock, Ariz., and Janice (Lyle) Tunink of Perry; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
