Michael Charles McAtee, 61, of Grand Junction died on March 5, 2024, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Kelly of Minnesota, Krystal (Lance) Dzuris of Churdan, Lisa (Haven) Hick of Pella and Michelle McAtee of Grand Junction; son, James McAtee of Grand Junction; son-in-law, Josh Kelly of Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Henry (Charlize) Hick, Haleigh (Markus) Dzuris, Brayden Hick, Chloe Dzuris, Charlie Hick, Abbie McAtee and Nevaeh Kelly; three sisters Laura (John) Littell of Doniphan, Missouri, Jamie Boateng of Des Moines and Chris (Jeff) Schultze of Scranton; and brother, Danny (Carla) Walsh of Azle, Texas.
Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of these arrangements. A Celebration of
Life will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, March 8 at the Grand Junction Community Center.
