Mudders and the Nineteen14, two popular Minburn bars and restaurants, suffered break ins overnight Sunday, and the Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the crimes.

“They’re open and active cases,” said Dallas County Chief Deputy Adam Infante. “We’re working on it. Two burglaries and that’s about all we’re going to say.”

Jeremy Mahler, owner and manager of the Nineteen14, posted security video of a possible suspect on Facebook Monday.

“I think we got off pretty easy,” Mahler said. “They got a pretty substantial amount of cash, but the only damage was a window lock, a door and our poor little cash register. I am thankful that this was an ‘after hours’ burglary and no one was hurt.”

Infante said anyone with information about these burglaries should call the Dallas County Sheriff’s office at 515-993-4471.
