A vehicle left the roadway of the westbound lanes of Iowa Highway 141 about 2:45 p.m. Thursday and rolled three or four times before coming to rest in the high corn on the north side of the highway, according to witnesses who reported the accident.
Several occupants of the passenger vehicle were transported to Dallas County Hospital by the Dallas County EMS. Also responding to the incident were the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Woodward First Responders and Woodward Volunteer Fire Department.
The identities of the vehicle’s occupants and the extent of their injuries are unknown at this hour.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the mishap, which occurred about 1,000 feet east of Odessa Place.
