The Cattery in downtown Perry, the Humane Society of Perry‘s state-licensed animal shelter, is running a name-your-price cat adoption drive between now and the end of the month as part of the June Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month.

“So many cats and kittens are looking for homes all across the country,” said Dorothea Peterson of Perry, director of the Humane Society of Perry Cattery. “Please call for an appointment to meet Perry’s homeless felines and give them a ‘furever’ home.”

Peterson said all the available cats and kittens have been checked by a veterinarian, vacinated and spayed or neutered.

“We are ready and waiting to meet you and be part of your family!” the sheltered felines seem to say with their eyes.

For more information or to arrange an adoption, call Peterson before 7 p.m.at 515-465-3413.

  1. When I hit the lottery jackpot, I’ll take in every one. I love them all, but I can only handle the three I have at home. Such darlings! They deserve their very own laps to fill.
