The 2016 general election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016. Click here to view the sample ballot included with this notice. Offices and candidates not appearing on the sample ballot are listed below:

pollsIn some cases, the polling places have changed from the ones used at the last general election (2012) and, if so, this notice serves as notice of change of polling place pursuant to 49.23 of the Code of Iowa. Changed polling places are shown with an asterisk (*) above.

Public testing of the voting equipment will begin Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. This test will be conducted at the Dallas County Election’s office at 210 N. 10th St. in Adel, Iowa. Testing will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until completed.

This notice is given by order of the Dallas County Commissioner of Elections pursuant to Chapters 49 and 52 of the Code of Iowa this 11th day of October 2016.
