  • An officer investigated a complaint of harassment.
  • An officer assisted someone with a vehicle registration problem.

December 7, 2016

  • An officer received a report of small children playing in the roadway in 200 block of N First Street. The officer was unable to locate any children upon his arrival.
  • An officer responded to a domestic situation at 331 S.W. Third St involving a verbal argument between a mother and adult daughter. There were no charges filed.
  • Geraldine Ray reported someone entered her house at 243 S.W. Sixth St., and she is missing cash and jewelry.

December 8, 2016

  • An officer assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.
  • An officer spoke with an Ogden resident regarding trash and junk around a property.
  • An officer received a complaint of a barking dog at 420 N.W. Fourth St. There was no one home at the residence.
  • An officer stopped by 420 N.W. Fourth St. and spoke with the resident about his barking dog. The resident said he would try to figure out a solution to the problem.

December 9, 2016

  • An officer checked on an occupied stranded vehicle in the 500 block of 220th Street. The occupants had help on the way.
  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with a home invasion at 957 223rd Place.
  • An officer received a report of a man in Ogden who might be suicidal. The officer made contact with the man, and he was not suicidal.

December 10, 2016

  • An officer assisted Boone County Deputies, Ogden First Responders, the Boone Fire Department, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Boone County EMS with a drowning victim at Don Williams Lake.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders with a lifeline call at 688 150th St. The person at home was fine.
  • An officer received a complaint about someone on the roof of an apartment building. An officer spoke with the person who was reported to be on the roof, but the person denied being there. The officer advised the person to stay away from the apartment building.

December 11, 2016

  • An officer arrested Jennifer N Adams, 23, of Ogden on an outstanding warrant.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
