December 9, 2019

  • An officer assisted another agency with a person.
  • An officer assisted with extricating a person trapped in a crawl space at 208 N.E. Third St.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted the Ogden First Responders at 308 S.W. Ninth St.

December 10, 2019

  • An officer assisted a person locked out of vehicle.

December 11, 2019

  • An officer received a report of a male juvenile playing near a construction site at S.W. Second and Division streets. The person was gone upon officer’s arrival.
  • The manager of Dollar General reported that an ex-employee would not return keys to the store. An officer spoke with the ex-employee, picked up the keys and returned to the manager.
  • An officer spoke with an Ogden resident about moving a small trailer filled with junk and lawnmowers off city parking.
  • An officer notified the Union Pacific Railroad that crossing arms at the First Street crossing were malfunctioning.

December 12, 2019

  • An officer received a report from Zion Lutheran Church personnel that someone was dumping garbage in their dumpster. An officer located a name in a garbage bag, spoke with the individual and advised the person to stop or charges will be filed.
  • An officer assisted a person locked out of vehicle.

December 13, 2019

  • An officer received a complaint from a citizen about parked vehicles in the 500 block of west Locust Street, blocking vision of vehicles southbound on N.W. Sixth Street at Locust Street. The officer spoke with the owner of vehicles and asked if he could move the vehicles farther north.
  • An officer received a complaint of a vehicle traveling north on H Avenue from 270th Street without taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle, and the driver was able to correct the problem.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist.

December 14, 2019

  • An Ogden resident reported that someone entered his residence during the night and stole his cellular phone and a Smith and Wesson 22 semi-automatic pistol with approximately 100 rounds of ammunition.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to an incomplete 911 call from a cellular phone that was mapping to the parking lot on north side of Ogden High School/Middle School. The deputy located individuals, and it was a child using the phone.

December 15, 2018

  • Boone County Deputies and an Ogden officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Swanson Drug. Upon the deputies’ arrival, they observed the front window had been broken. It appeared some drugs were taken, but an inventory will be performed to determine exactly which ones.
  • An officer responded to an incomplete 911 from Church of Christ. Children were playing with the phone.
  • PSA: Two more stop signs will be installed at S.W. Fourth and Veterans streets, making this a four-way stop.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
