January 16, 2017

  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at the Ogden Municipal Utilities. This was set off by an employee.
  • An officer was asked by a family member to do a welfare check on an Ogden resident. The resident was fine, but her phone was off the hook.
  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at a local restaurant. This was set off by a delivery person.

January 17, 2017

  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders with someone who fell on the ice at 419 N.W. Eighth St.
  • An officer assisted a motorist locked out of vehicle.

January 18, 2017

  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist at Casey’s.
  • An officer investigated a complaint of a reckless driver on H Avenue south of Ogden. The officer located the vehicle, and the driver was okay.
  • An officer received a complaint of a domestic dispute at 225 N. First St. The officer investigated, and it was only a verbal dispute.
  • An officer investigated a complaint of a car going the wrong way on 220th Street between Boone and Ogden. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist at Casey’s.

January 19, 2017

  • An officer investigated vandalism at a local retail store.

January 20, 2017

  • An officer removed debris from the roadway in the 900 block of 220th Street.
  • An officer investigated a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver on 220th Street between Jefferson and Ogden. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
  • An officer investigated a complaint of a careless driver traveling northbound on H Avenue south of Ogden. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
  • An officer responded to the Ogden High School for a possible fight in the parking lot. There was no fight in progress when the officer arrived.
  • An officer investigated a complaint of reckless driving in the 800 block of 216th Street. The officer located the driver and spoke with him.
  • An officer checked on a suspicious vehicle in the city park.

January 21, 2017

  • An officer was called to 245 W. Walnut St., #4, regarding someone who would not leave. The unwelcome person left upon the officer’s arrival.
  • An officer was asked by a Boone County Deputy Sheriff to look for a vehicle westbound on 220th Street from Boone at a high rate of speed. The officer located vehicle in the 700 block of 220th Street, traveling westbound at a speed greater than 100 mph. The officer stopped vehicle in the 200 block of 220th Street. The officer arrested Shanelle Bear, 27, of Montour for alleged speed (108 in a 65), reckless driving, driving while suspended and first-offense OWI. The officer transported the detainee to Boone County Jail.

January 22, 2017

  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with a domestic situation at 1003 157th St.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
