June 17, 2019

  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop.
  • An officer assisted a motorist locked out of a vehicle.
  • An officer received a report of a sick cat in the 600 block of W. Cherry Street. The officer called the Boone Area Humane Society to come and get the cat.
  • An officer talked with Ogden resident about a lawn needing mowed.
  • An officer received a complaint about a resident leaving a dog tied up outside with no water or shelter. The officer spoke with owner of dog.
  • A Boone County Deputy received a complaint from an Ogden resident regarding a male coming to her property while she is at work and harassing her 16-year-old daughter. The deputy told the resident he would look for the subject and direct him to stay away. The deputy also advised the complainant to have the daughter call when the male comes on the property.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.

June 18, 2019

  • An officer received a report about a large, yellow Labrador with a collar and a medium-sized, long-haired, brown or black dog running at large in the 200 block of N.W. Seventh Street. The officer was unable to catch the dogs.
  • An officer was asked to look for a black and white Plymouth Barracuda that was making bad passes while eastbound on 220th Street from Beaver Avenue. The officer stopped the vehicle in the 700 block of 220th Street and issued a citation to Mark Junk, 52, of Ames for driving under suspension, operation of a non-registered vehicle and failure to provide security against liability. Junk called friends to pick him up and drive the vehicle home.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.
  • An officer responded to a reported fight at 113 E. Maple St. The officer charged Clarence Teter, 54, of Ogden and Shane Teter, 48, of Ogden with simple assault. Both disputants were cited and released with a court date.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.

June 19, 2019

  • An officer investigated a possible hit-and-run accident that occurred more than one week ago at the Ogden High School parking lot.
  • An officer assisted someone with a civil matter at 213 N. First St.
  • A Boone County Deputy investigated an animal complaint at 507 E. Walnut St.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at 102 W. Veterans St.
  • A Boone County Deputy investigated a domestic assault at 113 W. Maple St.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted someone at 305 E. Walnut St. with a medical problem.

June 20, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy investigated an animal complaint in the 100 block of W. Walnut Street.
  • An officer assisted the Story County Sheriff’s office with a search warrant at 508 W. Division St.
  • An officer investigated vandalism to property at 631 W. Locust St.
  • An officer assisted an Iowa Department of Human Services employee with a case.
  • Boone County Deputies responded to 113 W. Maple St. for a trespassing complaint. Deputies arrested McCain Kester, 22, of Ogden on a Boone County warrant.
  • A Boone County Deputy spoke to someone about a possible assault complaint.
  • A Boone County Deputy went out at 619 N.W. Fourth St. for a warrant. The deputy arrested Joshua Martinez, 35, of Ogden on a Boone County warrant.
  • A Boone County Deputy picked up a loose dog in the 300 block of W. Elm Street. The deputy located the animal owner, and the dog was returned.

June 21, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy responded to a fire alarm at 220 Haws Drive.
  • An officer did a welfare check on a person at 443 E. Sycamore St.
  • An officer served an arrest warrant at 101 W. Vine St. The officer arrested Keaton Barnes, 22, of Ogden on a Boone County warrant.

June 22, 2019

  • No activity reported.

June 23, 2019

  • Boone County Deputies assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
  • An officer received a complaint of possible child abuse that happened in rural Boone County. The officer notified a Boone County Deputy about the incident.
  • An officer performed a welfare check on an Ogden resident. The person was not home, but the officer was able to make contact with him, and he was fine.
