June 3, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy investigated an intrusion alarm at Howe School. The building appeared secure.
  • A Boone County Deputy investigated an intrusion alarm at Howe School. The building appeared to be secure.
  • A Boone County Deputy investigated harassment at 208 E. Sycamore St.
  • Boone County Deputies responded to Accura Health 625 E. Oak St. for a resident attempting to leave.
  • A Boone County Deputy investigated a loose animal complaint in the 200 block of S.W. Fourth Street. The deputy was unable to locate the animal.

June 4, 2019

  • An officer received a citizen’s complaint form regarding barking dogs and a lawn not being mowed at an Ogden residence. The officer went to the residence, and nobody was home. The officer will stop back later.
  • An officer assisted another agency in looking for a vehicle.

June 5, 2019

  • Judy Tonsfeldt of 531 S.W. Fifth St. reported that a neighbor is driving through her yard. An officer called and left a message for neighbor to call him.

June 6, 2019

  • Boone County Deputies and an Ogden officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Swanson Drug. A front window was broken out upon deputies arrival, and no one was in the building.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to a complaint of a bat in a residence. The deputy was unable to locate the bat.
  • A Boone County Deputy and an Ogden officer responded to a report of a male subject passed out behind the steering wheel of a vehicle in the 200 block of W. Oak Street. The deputy arrested Dane Erickson, 19, of Ogden for alleged possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and possession of alcohol.
  • Employees of the Ogden Reporter caught two dogs running at large in the 200 block of W. Walnut Street. The Boone Area Humane Society came and picked up the dogs.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • Ogden officers and Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at an Ogden residence. There were several items recovered that were taken in the Swanson Drug burglaries.

June 7, 2019

  • Boone County Deputies and an Ogden officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Swanson Drug. Upon deputies’ arrival, the front window was broken out.
  • An officer assisted someone with an abandoned vehicle on his property.
  • An Ogden resident reported possible identity theft.

June 8, 2019

  • Employees of a local restaurant requested an officer escort them to their cars due to problems with a customer earlier. A Boone County Deputy escorted the employees to their cars.
  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at the Ogden Middle School. This was set off by a school employee.
  • An Ogden resident reported a female at this residence, and he wanted her to leave. The female is a friend of his son, but she won’t leave. An officer responded and advised the female to leave.
  • An officer assisted Boone County Deputy, Iowa State Patrol, Ogden Fire, Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at a two-vehicle accident at L Avenue and 220th Street involving personal injury.

June 9, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • A Boone County Deputy received a complaint from an Ogden resident that neighbor’s dog charged at him in an aggressive manner and that this has happened before. The deputy spoke with the neighbor and advised him to keep his dog on his property. The deputy warned that the dog will go to the Boone Area Humane Society in the event of any further complaint.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
