March 27, 2017

  • An officer assisted the Ogden Volunteer Fire Department at 701 W. Oak St. regarding to a suspicious odor.
  • An officer investigated a suspicious person at Clark’s Food Mart.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist at 237 S.W. Fifth St.
  • An officer investigated a possible motor vehicle theft at 507 E. Walnut St. The vehicle was located in Polk County and had been taken by a family member. The vehicle was returned, and the complainant did not wish to file charges.

March 28, 2017

  • An officer responded to 307 S. First St. for an alarm that was going off. This turned out to be a faulty alarm.
  • An Ogden resident spoke with officer regarding removing a vehicle from his property that belongs to a relative.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • An officer received a report of a breaking and entering at an Ogden residence. There was nothing missing.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and the Boone County EMS at Acura of Ogden Health Care, formerly the Ogden Manor.
  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with an accident in the 700 block of H Avenue.

March 29, 2017

  • Paul Fangmann, owner of Fang’s Auto, requested assistance with an abandoned vehicle on his property.
  • An officer removed debris from roadway in 300 block of S.W. Fifth Street.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and the Boone County EMS.

March 30, 2017

  • An officer was dispatched to look for a Waste Management truck that was westbound on 220th Street and leaking something out of the back. The officer was unable to locate the truck and assumed it went to the Boone County landfill.
  • An officer talked to an Ogden resident and asked him to pick up all the pop cans that were laying around his yard.
  • An officer responded to the 400 block of 270th Street to back up a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with an alleged fight between a male and female. The female was still on scene, but the male had left the area. The female denied any physical contact and would not say who was driving the car.

March 31, 2017

  • An officer handled a vehicle complaint.

April 1, 2017

  • An officer investigated a complaint of a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 169. The officer located the vehicle and spoke to the driver.
  • An officer received a complaint of a loose dog in the 300 block of N.E. Second Street.
  • An officer arrested Myles Davis, 18, of Gowrie for alleged possession of controlled substance in the 200 block of N. First Street.
  • An officer arrested a juvenile male from Dayton for alleged possession of a controlled substance in the 200 block of N. First Street.
  • An officer arrested Tristan Ewing, 18, of Lehigh for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of N. First Street.

April 2, 2017

  • An officer investigated an open door on a residence in the 500 block of W. Elm Street.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 413 E. Mulberry St.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
