Parents of Perry students from preschool through fifth grade will be able to collect resource packages for their children Tuesday afternoon.
Each packet will contain a variety of books, handouts, class materials, art packets and other materials personally chosen by each teacher.
Students from any preschool in Perry, including the Perry Child Development Center and the Gingerbread preschool at St. Patrick’s will, along with transitional kindergarten, traditional kindergarten, and first grade, be able to retrieve materials from 12:30-2 p.m.
Second and third grade student packages will be handed out form 2-3 p.m. with grades four and five distributed from 3-4 p.m.
Parents are asked to use the front circle drive at Perry Elementary and to remain in their vehicles. A staff member will come to the vehicle and, upon learning the student name or names, return with the individual package.
For families with students in several grades, only one stop will be required and all children in the family will receive their materials at the same time.
