Capital City Fruit in Norwalk has made boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables directly available to some food pantries, including the Perry Food Pantry, Site Coordinator Lou Hoger announced Tuesday.
Pantry customers who have not used the pantry in May may collect their fresh produce Thursday, May 28. Customers may also receive a box with their regular orders on the following dates:
- June 2
- June 4
- June 9
- June 11
- June 16
- June 18
- June 23
- June 25
Hoger said new customers will be asked to provide their names and evidence of Perry addresses in order to use the Perry Food Pantry.
