  • A caller said he lost his cell phone.
  • The Perry Police Department School Resource Officer and a Perry High School administrator “discussed a bullying issue between” students, and the “situation is being dealt with at the school level.”
  • A caller said her dog was lost.
  • A caller said a child “failed to arrive at the babysitter’s” residence “after school today.” Officers responded, and the “child was located a short time later at the sitter’s residence.”
  • A caller said her billfold was stolen from her shopping cart. The caller called again and said she found her billfold in her vehicle.
  • A caller ssaid his neighbor “has a cate that is allowed to run loose.” The caller said he “has scratches and paw prints on his vehicle,” and he “believes the neighbor’s cat is responsible.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “someone hit his mailbox, knocking it off its post.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “his wife was driving” and “started acting strange.” The caller said “he got the vehicle stopped, and she started acting okay,” and he “said he would transport her to Dallas County Hospital.”

August 29, 2017

  • A caller said “someone had been in his garage again” and “gone through his toolbox” and “also went through his van.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
