August 25, 2020
- A 2013 Hyundai Elantra, registered to and driven by Marilyn Celeste Cervantes Castaneda of 2269 Angus Ave., Perry, collided with a 2012 Honda Civic, registered to Jenny Soe of 2615 Prospect Road, Des Moines, and driven by Htay Htay Win of 2311 26th St., Des Moines, on Iowa Highway 141 at Willis Avenue. No injuries were reported. Castenada was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 1900 block of Lucinda Street.
