November 30, 2016

  • A caller from a local retail store reported “a stray cat that got into their building.” The caller said “they have it cornered.” Officers responded. The cat bit an employee of the store. The cat was captured and “transported to the Perry Animal Clinic to be quarantined.”
  • A caller said “someone has been in her father’s house.” She said “the key no longer works in the lock, and the front door was open.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he was out vacuuming his car at the car wash” when he “realized that the door was open to the change machine. He didn’t want anyone to take the money and wanted someone to be aware of it.” An officer responded and determined “that someone forgot to lock the change door.” The owner was advised.
  • A caller reported “damage to his garage door.” He said it “looked like someone poked holes in the garage.” The caller said ” he was worried that someone might have stolen other items,” but he “did not want to enter until an officer responded.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he is upset with a truck that drives by on a regular basis with loud exhaust.” He said “the truck frightens his child.” An officer responded.

December 1, 2016

  • A caller “requested to speak with an officer about harassment being done via Facebook.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
