  • A caller reported someone “sleeping in his car in the alley.” The caller said he believed “a welfare check needed to be done.” An officer responded and “located a vehicle there but no one in it.”
  • An incomplete 911 call was received. “Normal conversation and laughing” were heard.
  • A caller said “her uncle is there being problematic. They asked him to leave but he won’t.” Officers responded.
  • Loren Dean Spidle, 58, of Woodward was arrested on a warrant on an original charge of fifth-degree theft.
  • An incomplete 911 call was received. Called back and spoke with someone who said “she didn’t place a call.”
  • An incomplete 911 call was received. Called back and spoke with someone who said “he is at the dentist and did not mean to dial anyone.”
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded and transported the animals to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said her grandson “had some money stolen from him” yesterday “while he was playing basketball.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he neighbor “was yelling at her kids and her.” The caller said the neighbor “was upset because the door was opened.” An officer responded.
  • Steven Samuel Paul Schleicher, 32, 706 Cedar Ave., Woodward, was arrested on a charge of interference with official acts.
  • A caller said a customer “was possibly under the influence.” An officer was advised but “was busy with another call at the time of this call.”
  • A caller said “his dad assaulted him.” An officer responded, spoke with the caller and the dad and determined the caller was “mouthing off” to the dad, who “slapped him in the face.”
  • A caller said “her water pipes broke,” and she “needed someone to come and turn the water off.” The Perry Water Department was notified.
  • Officers of the Perry Police Department conducted a snow ordinance patrol and issued 17 warning-only notices to the owners of vehicles in violation.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
