- The Perry Police Department received two reports of attempted fraud. Two parties reported scam phone calls from someone claiming to be their grandchild who was in an accident and needed money.
- Jose Gonzalez, 35, of 1524 North St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense domestic abuse assault.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
