  • A caller said “her daughter saw a possible male reach over their gate and attempt to open it. When the male saw the daughter was looking at him, he ran away,” and “the daughter ran inside the house.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “a male wit dark hair and wearing a gray sweater had been banging on her door and ringing the bell with urgency.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “that his son saw someone going in through the window” of a neighboring property. The caller said his son “believed it was a teenager.” Officers responded and made contact with someone at the neighboring property who “was unable to locate the key and crawled through the window to get it. All was okay.”
  • A caller said he “received a call from one of his tenants” who said “the hallway smelled like some sort of burned rubber.” An officer responded and “did not smell anything of concern.”
  • A caller said “there was an individual who was not supposed to contact him, and they made contact with him this morning through Facebook.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said she spoke with someone who “was crying and stated her boyfriend has not hit her yet and was just going to go to bed.” The caller requested officers of the Perry Police Department check the welfare of the crying person. Officers responded.
  • A caller said “he wife is screaming and yelling at him, his brother and nephew.” The caller said “he’s asked her to leave the residence, but she refuses to leave.” Officers responded and “attempted to calm the situation,” but the disputants were having trouble “understanding what leaving each other alone meant and kept making comments that would upset the other while the officers were there.” The officers at length persuaded the disputants “to stop talking to each other for the evening and go to bed and revisit their issues the next day.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
