  • A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department encountered a juvenile female who “was upset and crying in the street.” The juvenile said she “was at her sister’s” and someone’s boyfriend “wanted to have sexual intercourse,” and she “told him no several times. He kept asking her as he got closer to her, making her feel uncomfortable.” The officer “transported the juvenile to the police department for an interview. Mom also responded.”
  • A caller said the “front windows that face the street of the house were damaged,” and “the glass was shattered.” The caller said “all the windows have holes.” An officer responded and determined the windows were damaged “with a BB or pellet gun.”
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and “asked to talk to an officer about renting a property and the eviction process.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he was not getting his paycheck.” An officer responded and “advised him his best option is to contact a lawyer.”
  • A caller said “there is a no-contact order between him and his ex-girlfriend,” and her aunt “has been trying to get meesages to him through Facebook Messenger to his current girlfriend.” The caller said “he will call when he gets home so an officer could respond.”
  • A caller reported a scam. An officer responded.
  • A woman and her son entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. in order “to report a phone scam.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he locked his keys in his running car.” The caller was given the contact information for local tow services.
  • A wireless 911 caller said “there was someone in her apartment that was going crazy.” Officers responded “and found out that the argument was about the internet cutting out,” and someone “was intoxicated.”
  • A caller said “her aunt has a daughter who she needs help with due to her cutting herself.” Officers responded, and the Perry First Responders and Dallas County EMS were paged. The officers found the juvenile female’s “cuts were superficial,” and they transported the victim the the Dallas County Hospital.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
