March 6, 2018

  • A caller said someone “driving a black pickup with a Confederate flag covering the back window pumped $20 in gas and drove off without paying.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “an unknown person had thrown a rock through a window at his rental house.” An officer responded.
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department taught a DARE class at the Perry Elementary School.
  • A caller said “he recently took out all of his belongings and is no longer living” with his “ex-girlfriend,” but he “isĀ  receiving messages from the family and friends, asking when he is going to fix these holes in the wall that he put there.” The caller said “he did not do that damage and wanted to know what could be done.” An officer responded.
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department was teaching a DARE class at the Perry Elementary School when “he was called to the office to assist with a disorderly student.”
  • A caller reported “a deceased raccoon in the street.” The Perry Public Works Department was notified.
  • A caller said someone “changed all the locks” and “is not letting her back in to get her belongings.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he’s having problems with a name unknown ale and his friends,” and “he’s afraid he will be assaulted if he attempts to leave.” An officer responded and stood by while the caller “walked to his car.”
  • A caller said her dog was lost.

March 7, 2018

  • Nastassia Chanel Goff, 33, was arrested on charges of driving under suspension, providing false information, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts.
  • Jerrilyn Nelson Spencer, 59, 1307 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and disorderly conduct.
  • A caller said “someone had backed into him and left.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said his vehicle was struck at his workplace, and he said he knew the person who struck it. The man said the person “told him that his car was in the way and that it was the only way he could get out.”
  • A caller reported three juveniles “conversing and swearing.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. Another caller later called and said “she caught the dog.”
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “at school today” someone “stole her phone” and damaged it. An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “his vehicle was backed into by another vehicle.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
