February 8, 2021
- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 2600 block of McKinley Street. A report was taken.
- Angel Martin Ibarra, 22, of 2406 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested on a Polk County warrant for probation violation.
- Officers received a complaint of a trespass issue in the 700 block of First Avenue.
- A 2005 Ford F150 pickup, registered to Kelley Eugene Kirtley of 612 North St., Yale, and driven by Brandon Eugene Kirtley of 908 Park St., Perry, collided with a 2011 Ford F150 pickup, registered to Landus Cooperative of 105 Garfield Ave., Farnhamville, and driven by Anthony William Friedrichsen, 21768 141st St., Perry, near First Avenue and Lucinda Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,300. Kirtley was issued a citation for failure to stop in an assured clear distance and failure to provide proof of financial liability-accident related.

- Officers responded to a report of possible fraud in the 700 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
- Jonathan De Jesus Corado-Melendrez, 23, of 2665 Summer Meadows Dr., Perry, was arrested on charges of three counts of assault on a peace officer, interference with official acts and public intoxication.

- Julio Andrian Ruiz, 18, of 1421 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for assault.
- A 2012 Chevy Sonic, registered to Jana Marie Dekoter of 1912 N.W. Sunset Lane, Grimes, and driven by Brooklyn Rayne Dekoter of 1415 155th Ave W., Milan Illinois, collided with a legally parked 2012 Toyota Tundra, registered to Marisa Candelaria Cerna of 2020 Evelyn St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $200.
- Angel Alfredo Sanchez, 29, of 2609 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
