  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “he wanted an officer to go attempt to collect rent from his roommate, who refuses to pay.” An officer responded and “informed him of the eviction process he would need to take to get his roommate out.”
  • A caller “requested to speak with an officer about issues he is having in the group home he was in in Adel and problems that have followed him to his new home in Perry.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he found what appears to be a handgun in the south parking lot of the hospital.” An officer responded, and the item was “placed into evidence.”
  • A caller said her dog was lost. The caller called again and said her dog was found.
  • A caller reported “kids that keep entering trailers and destroying property.” The caller also reported a 15-year-old female “was talking back to her mother earlier today.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a phone he found. An officer responded and “placed the phone into evidence.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
